About Us

The first annual LAB Ride was held in March of 2009, with two major goals in mind. Raise funds to fight Ocular Melanoma and to spread awareness about the disease. Riders came from all over the United States to take part in the 40-mile bike ride through the city of San Francisco and Marin County. With their help we were able to raise a significant about of money for two leading cancer centers, UC Davis Cancer Center and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Hospital.

Every year we will pick a charitable organization that will receive the donations raised from the ride. This organization will be on forefront of the fight against Ocular Melanoma.

It is our goal to hold this event yearly to continue to raise awareness about Ocular Melanoma and to help aid facilities that are hard at work to find a cause and cure for this disease.
